How it works
The full picture, from invitation to morning update.
Most check-in services hide their flow. We walk you through ours, because if it's going to live in your family's morning, you should know exactly how it feels.
- 01
You sign up
Add your loved one's name, phone, and the time of day they're usually up. It takes about 4 minutes.
- 02
We send a friendly intro
Before any check-in, we call once to introduce ourselves, explain what to expect, and answer questions. We don't ask anything yet.
- 03
They consent — in their words
Your parent says yes (or no, or 'let me think'). Nothing else happens until they choose. They can change their mind any time.
- 04
Daily calls begin
Each morning at the time they chose, the call goes out. The voice is warm and unhurried. They can talk as long as they like.
- 05
You get an update
A short, plain-language summary lands in your inbox. If something needs you, we say so directly. If not, the morning stays quiet.
What a call sounds like
Warm. Unhurried. Never robotic.
We listen as much as we speak. If your parent wants to chat about the rain, we let them — there's no script we're racing through.

Good morning, Mary. It's your DailyCheck calling. How are you feeling today?
Mary
Oh, hello dear. I slept well. Bit of rain outside.
DailyCheck
That's lovely to hear. Did you have a chance to take your morning medication?
Mary
Yes, with my tea.
DailyCheck
Wonderful. Anything you'd like me to pass along to Maria today?
Mary
Tell her I'd love a visit on Sunday if she can.
DailyCheck
I'll let her know. Have a beautiful day, Mary.
The Care Circle
Who sees what — your parent decides.
A Care Circle is the small, private group your parent approves to receive updates. Three permission levels keep things simple.
View summaries
See written summaries of each call. Best for siblings who want to stay in the loop without listening in.
Listen to recordings
Hear the call when recordings are enabled. Reserved for the people your parent specifically approves.
Receive alerts
Get a notification if a call is missed or your parent asks to be called back. Great for the primary caregiver.
The unspoken questions
What you might be worrying about.
- Will it feel weird to my mom?
- Most parents tell us it feels like a friendly neighbor checking in. The voice is warm, never rushed. They can take their time, ramble, or end the call whenever they like.
- What if she doesn't want to do it?
- Then we don't call. The first call is an invitation, not a check-in. If she says no, the service quietly pauses — and you're never charged.
- Am I 'spying' on my parent?
- No. The Care Circle only sees what your parent has agreed to share. They can change permissions at any time. Every recording listen is logged so they can see who heard what.
